Around the year 1000, Neustift was known by a different name, then it was called Stupea.

The city has a population of about 5,000 people, there is a gas station and its own Billa supermarket.

Neustift is located in the Stubaital Valley, there are several ski resorts in this valley, each with its own unique feature.

As for public transport, there are buses here, you can travel between the ski resorts on the free ski bus, or go to Innsbruck, which is only 30 km away.

Someone has a tractor in their garage...

Since it is mostly a tourist town, there are quite a few restaurants here.

I really liked how the buildings here are constructed in a single architectural style; the city looks very harmonious.
