Trip to Innsbruck
Hello!
The story will be, as you might have guessed, about a city in the center of the Eastern Alps, at the foot of the Karwendel ridge.
The airport is located only 4 kilometers from the center of Innsbruck, so if you are in the right mood, you can walk, but if you have a lot of things with you, it is still more convenient to get there by bus, which runs every 15 minutes (bus line F).
Within the city itself, it is convenient to travel by tram and bus, while the suburbs can be reached by bus or a kind of train analogue - S-Bahn.
The city was founded in 1234 and has a population of 130,000.
The city has a cable car that can take you up to the nearest mountain, many different museums, an alpine zoo, but I had limited time on this trip and I didn’t see much.
Overall, the city makes a pleasant impression, buildings with interesting architecture are maintained in good condition, and advertising does not obscure all this beauty.
This is me, by the way :-)
"Golden Roof"
The city has 11 churches (in the Franciscan or court church there is a marble cenotaph of Emperor Maximilian I), 5 monasteries, a Jesuit college, the Ferdinandeum or Tyrolean National Museum, and Ambras Castle.
The Inn River, which originates in Switzerland, where it flows out of Lake Lungin at an altitude of 2484 m, near the Maloja Pass, and then flows through Austria and Germany.
Small model trains, just like the real thing...
Finally, a few more photos of the city ;-)...
Stay tuned
