Around the year 1000, Neustift was known by a different name. Back then, it was called Stupea.

The town has a population of about 5,000, along with a gas station and its own Billa supermarket.

Neustift is located in the Stubaital Valley , there are several ski resorts in this valley, each with its own unique character.

As for public transport, there are buses here, and you can travel between the ski resorts on the free ski bus or take a trip to Innsbruck, which is only 30 km away.

Someone even keeps a tractor in their garage...

Since it’s mostly a tourist town, there are plenty of restaurants here.

I really liked how the buildings here follow a single architectural style, making the town look very harmonious.

The alpine air is incredibly clean, and the tap water tastes better than bottled mineral water back home.
